Even the most experienced therapists can carry a quiet fear that they are somehow "not enough."

Beneath years of education, clinical experience, and positive client outcomes, many clinicians continue to wrestle with self-doubt, harsh self-criticism, perfectionism, and the persistent feeling that they are only one mistake away from being exposed as inadequate.

For many, these experiences are rooted in much deeper patterns than professional insecurity alone. They reflect longstanding beliefs about worthiness, visibility, belonging, and safety that often predate a therapist's career.

This experiential online workshop invites us to explore the hidden psychological dynamics that contribute to impostor syndrome, shame, and the inner critic while cultivating a more authentic, compassionate relationship with ourselves as clinicians.

Through guided reflection, small-group discussion, experiential exercises, journaling, and practical therapeutic activities, you will begin moving from relentless self-evaluation toward greater self-trust and confidence in your clinical work.

The workshop will also explore what many helping professionals experience as the visibility wound—the complicated relationship with being seen.

Whether it shows up as fear of speaking up in consultation groups, hesitation to market a practice, anxiety about teaching, presenting, publishing, raising fees, or simply allowing oneself to be recognized as knowledgeable, the visibility wound often keeps talented therapists hidden despite their gifts.

Rather than focusing on becoming a "perfect" therapist, this workshop emphasizes developing the courage to be a genuine one. You will leave with a deeper understanding of the emotional and developmental roots of professional self-doubt, practical tools for working with shame and self-criticism, and renewed permission to occupy their place in the therapy room with greater authenticity, presence, and self-compassion.
