The setting is Quietude, a retreat center in the town of Black Mountain, one mile from downtown shops and restaurants, and twenty minutes from Asheville, North Carolina.

If you’ve been hesitant about introducing tarot cards into your therapy sessions, then this is your chance to learn how to do so - with confidence!
Using tarot in therapy isn’t about memorizing a book full of meanings or predicting the future.
Instead, it’s learning how trusting your intuitive wisdom opens up a whole new world, both for you and your clients.
During the retreat, you will:
Experience for yourself a large number of practical and powerful therapeutic activities with the cards that you can immediately begin incorporating into your sessions
Learn how to feel more comfortable introducing tarot to your clients with your informed consent paperwork
Figure out what to put on your website to attract clients who are open to tarot
Explore how you can market your services as a “tarot-friendly” therapist
Learn how to write notes that ethically reflect what you are doing in session
Together, we’ll work through challenges you might have regarding incorporating tarot into your clinical work.
Tarot cards will add a profound dimension to your therapeutic practice, and so I want you to leave the retreat feeling comfortable and confident as a member of the “therapists who tarot” family!

Living in a Covid world…
Unexpected events do occur, so I highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance if you are flying in. I also recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. That way your travels costs should be covered if you are unable to attend or if the retreat has to be cancelled for an unforeseen reason. If the retreat is cancelled due to the host having an illness, then all participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
When it comes to Covid protocols, I will assume that we will all have been taking the necessary precautions to protect ourselves, especially in the weeks leading up to the retreat.
