Witchy Therapists Summit

Live Online

February 6 - 8, 2025

Strength in Community

Tarot. Astrology. Crystals.

Dreamwork. Past Lives. Spellcraft. Mediumship. Ritual. Shadow Work.

Do any these practices resonate?

Maybe you have experience with one or more.

Perhaps you’re just curious.

Either way, you also happen to be a mental health clinician.

And so, my question to you is this:

Do you dream about bringing your witchy self to your job?

Do you wish you could show up authentically for your clients, as the fullest version of yourself?

But…does the idea of doing so make you nervous?

*

That’s why I created this online summit.

It has two goals:

First, to bring together in a safe space like-minded people.

So many of us have hid our witchy interests for too long - it’s time to come together openly in community!

Second, to discover how other witchy therapists are combining their “unconventional” passions with their professional work.

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other clinicians, as well as learn what it actually means to be a “witchy therapist” from fourteen psychotherapists who will be sharing their wisdom and experiences with you.

You’ll gain a wide array of knowledge, tools and resources.

I want you to feel inspired - and validated.

You don’t have to be lonely or isolated in this field. You have a community.

Summit Dates: February 6 - 8, 2025

Our Speakers and their presentations

  • Samantha Bell, LCMHC

Stop People Pleasing and Start Soul Pleasing: One Intuitive’s Story on How to Step Into Your Purpose (Thursday, 2/6 at 12:30pm EST)

Too often therapists come into the field as wounded healers who want to help heal others. But how often do we stop and center around helping ourselves? While attempting to heal those wounds, we often give from an empty cup in both our personal and professional lives. We did not come back to this plane, to be just that. That was not our true intent or purpose. This presentation will center around becoming a true healer. It will explain how to use your passions, powers and gifts to show up as your authentic self in all environments. There will be a discussion on how to break away from stigma, societal norms, and family expectations to step into your soul’s desire and purpose. Hear one medium’s story on how she walked through the dark knight of the soul and embraced her soul’s path and purpose.

  • Michelle Jaquish, LCSW

Bypassing Spiritual Spaces with Anti-Racism: A Filipina Witchy Therapist’s Journey (Thursday, 2/6 at 1:30pm EST)

Michelle Jaquish, a queer Filipina therapist discusses the need for more anti-racist analysis, and conversations, and action in spiritual witchy spaces through her journey as a tarot therapist practicing in Seattle and the challenges, learnings, and joys of bringing tarot and spiritual practices into her work as a therapist and academic social work lecturer. Michelle will draw upon her past and present experiences in navigating this conversation in social work and therapist spaces, as well as offer a call to action for participants for further reflection throughout their attendance at this Witchy Online Therapist Summit.

  • Tina Vitolo-Campos, LCSW

Crafting Clinical Language for Non-Traditional Therapy Approaches (Thursday, 2/6 at 3pm EST)

  • Zumrad Masar, LCSW

Psyche's Playground: Using Dreams for Therapeutic Growth (Thursday, 2/6 at 4pm EST)

This session delves into the profound realm of dreams, offering mental health professionals a unique opportunity to understand and utilize dream analysis in therapeutic settings. Participants will explore the symbolic language of dreams and discover the power of dream interpretation in uncovering unconscious motivations. Enhance your therapeutic practice by tapping into the rich, imaginal worlds of your clients' dreams and foster greater self-awareness, empowerment, and healing.

  • Amy Allemana, LCSW

Using Active Imaginiation with Tarot (Friday, 2/7 at 12:30pm EST)

When we directly experience the wisdom of the unconscious, we experience creative renewal.

Using tarot and active imagination we begin to play with symbols and archetypes offered by the unconscious. In this workshop we will pick a tarot card and focus on the archetype, using a step by step process to tap into the unconscious depths and bring meaning into the conscious psyche.

  • Ca’ren Hudson, LMFT

Finding Alignment with Human Design (Friday, 2/7 at 1:30pm EST)

  • Sonia Fregoso, LMFT

    Body-Centered Spirituality (Friday, 2/7 at3pm EST)

I believe spirituality is a journey you define, and feeling grounded in your body strengthens your relationship to spirit. However, building a relationship with your body is not easy if you have a traumatic past, which makes it challenging to connect to anything spiritually. Acknowledging your wounds opens your connection to your higher self and your spiritual world.

Sonia will be teaching how to acknowledge your wounds with various tools such as tarot, crystals, somatic awareness, and energy healing.

  • Celina Jacques, LMFT

  • Dreya Blume, LCSW (she/her)

Tarot Cards and Shadow Work: A Powerful Combination for Self-Discovery and Healing (Friday, 2/7 at 5:30pm EST)

It’s All in the Cards (Saturday, 2/8 at 1:30pm)

Our clients often bring personal practices that go beyond conventional norms, such as Reiki, spiritual rituals, crystals, and especially tarot cards or oracle cards. These practices have a valuable place within the therapy room and the sandtray space.

Join us for an innovative workshop that blends Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work with energy healing practices. Learn how to seamlessly integrate your clients' rituals into the sandtray process, with a special focus on utilizing tarot cards to create a holistic and empowering therapeutic experience.

Grab your tarot cards, sandtray, and miniatures, and get ready to expand your therapeutic toolkit and bring a new level of depth and creativity to your practice!

Reclaiming Soul Work Podcast “ Tea & Tarot '' is a space for spiritual and spiritually curious practitioners, counselors and therapists to come together to connect while sippin’ their favorite teas & talking tarot. This session is for those who are ready to embrace a decolonial path in their life and work. We deserve a space where we can bridge spirituality, mental health and social justice. Where we don’t have to explain ourselves or convince people why these intersections matter. Get ready to sip your tea, embrace the wisdom of tarot, and reflect with other therapists.

During our session, we will be using our RSW Tarot Spreads to spark reflections and conversations on the deep work of exploring our unlearning experiences. FAQs

Why is the summit three days long?

Because there are so many cool witchy therapists doing so many cool witchy things, that it was impossible to even begin to narrow down the speakers and topics. This summit could easily have been a week long. In addition, having 13 speakers spread over three half-days means that people won’t have to give up their entire days to attend.

What does “community building” entail?

During the “community building” portions of the summit, I’ll be inviting attendees into separate breakout rooms. These will be small groups of 3 - 4 people. The goal is for you to introduce yourself, learn more about each other’s practices, and network. There is no obligation to be in a breakout room, so people can sit them out if so desired.

Is the summit being recorded?

No, it won’t be. The reason is that I’d like people to treat this the same way they would an in-person retreat, with a commitment to show up in-person to the best of their ability. This ensures that we’ll have enough people present to allow us to build a real-time community.

Are CEUs being offered?

Not this year.

Do I have to consider myself to be a “witchy therapist” to attend?

Nope, all that is necessary is curiosity and a willingness to meet new people and learn new things.

Do I have to have any prior experience in any of the topics being offered?

Not at all!

Who is organizing this thing?

Me! I’m Dreya Blume and have been a clinical social worker and therapist since 2004. I love tarot and have been integrating it into my professional life for the past twenty years. I am the author of several books, including “The Tarot Activity Book: A Collection of Creative and Therapeutic Ideas for the Cards” and “Tarot for Transformation,” both written under my old name, Andy Matzner. As Dreya I’ve also written a bunch of stuff, including “A Tarot Shadow Work Journal” and even more books in the “Tarot for Transformation” series.

Why are you charging money for this event?

In order to be able to fully and fairly compensate the speakers for their time and energy, as they have generously offered to share their experience and wisdom with us.

What’s your refund policy?

Prior to 48 hours of the start of the conference, you can request a full refund by emailing Dreya: Dreyablume [at] gmail.com. Within that 48 hour window, however, no refunds can be given.
